Hi All, I am interested in buying a good quality Vanagon awning & others of you have indicated interest as well. I am in currently in contact with the Canadian manufacturer over the details. I contacted Richard Myers, a ShadyBoy owner/user, with my list of questions re: his opinion of the awning, any improvements he felt should be made to the fabric or design--that sort of thing. He graciously outlined a comprehensive list of suggestions, including his own instructions for mounting the awning. I will pass this info on to the manufacturer & determine whether they would be willing to work with these changes & improvements. They make this claim in the web page ad, so there is hope. Ron, of The Bus Depot, as you may have read in his recent post, also claims to have his new awning design ready to unveil "soon". So perhaps, when all the data is in, we will have two good options! I will continue to keep you posted.
