Yes, the book is about BCFS sites, but I have noticed over the last few years that either by neglect or by design, some sites are no longer being serviced by BCFS, sort of abandoned. Thats why I said mostly ;)

The edition I have was published in 1999 and does deal with camp fees, and how to apply for an annual camping pass ($27 in 1999).

I have never bought one of those passes, though it seems like a good idea if it is true that the forsest service uses the fees to help maintain the campsites.
