I have a very clean rust-free sliding sunroof Vanagon for sale. (7/26/00)
It is Kuril-Monaco Blue, 7-passenger with a blue interior.
The odometer is 140,000, the engine has been rebuilt about 20 K miles ago.
It is auto trans, has new 6-ply tires, and German H4 headlamps with the park
bulb.
I have replaced these parts, etc.:
Windshield, like new
Muffler, good used
Early black dash to later black padded dash
Trans fluid
Oil and filter
Front brake pads
Brakes bled
Driver's seat
Radio (Heidleberg)
Amsoil air filter
bulbs, etc.
The engine has AMC heads and a new waterpump, and a 90 amp alternator.
Autobahn coolant, and a new coolant reservoir.
I have been driving it for three weeks, with no problems.
The body has some door dings and paint chips, small scratches, nothing that
detracts from its nice overall appearance.
The huge sliding sunroof also operates easily by the hand crank.
I'm asking $2,800.
It has plenty of power and is fun to drive especially with the roof open.
This has great potential as a Weekender-I have located the rear bed seat,
just need the rear cushion.
I am in the South Seattle area where I see at least 10 or more Vanagons and
Westies a day. I am 10 minutes from Sea-Tac International airport in case
this is the Vanagon you have been looking for east of the Westies.
