Hi, list!

I would appreciate your collective wisdom. I'm keeping my '90 GL but am considering a '73 Loaf camper. It's been sitting around awhile, but runs. May have a little (?!) something wrong with the engine. The body has some rust, but not too awful bad. It looks like it can be taken care of without too much effort. The inside needs alot of cosmetic work: carpet, cabinet door handles, curtains, sink, etc.. It has some sort of contraption between the front seats that has a hose running to the nose. It looks like a supplemental heater- has a German label on it.

It has passed NYS inspections, for whatever that's worth!

The PO is just asking $700, but I think he'll take $500

I was thinking that this would be a fund project vehicle for me and my boys to work on in our spare time.

Am I throwing my money away?! And would I be throwing alot more away getting it fixed up?
