Subject: WTB: 83-91 Westfalia (Syncro?)
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

I am looking for a reasonably priced Westfalia, Syncro if I can afford it. Minor body imperfections not a problem, nor are minor interior issues. Light color desirable, I live in a desert at 10,000 feet, so sun reflectance is an issue. If is ok if it needs minor repairs, but minor only (broken mirror, tail lamps, shocks, screens, etc...). I am looking for a solid engine, clutch, tranny, brakes, front end, electrical, etc... I am new to the Westy world, so any help would be appreciated on desirable, non-desirable options or problem items to watch for. I have only about $8000 to spend, and would like to save some of that for repairs, license fees, insurance, etc.... Thanks for your help!
