Avoid wiper tracks and do what is pleasing to you.

Mine is in the lower driver's corner of the back window, and in the same location on the front. However, I think I'm going to steal a sticker and move the front one to a position in front of the rear view mirror, which will probably be more visible from a distance.

If you got blue stickers and have a Westy with a white top, you might consider putting the stickers on top opposite the "Westphalia" stickers.
