Robert, call me cynical but after 25 years in business I doubt Jack is going
to change his spots. Unless it's a "jailhouse conversion" and more evidence
than the "he-said-she-said" nature of the deal I doubt that will happen
either. If he's been in business for 25 years and has more than 5 employees
depending on him (maybe an ex-wife or two plus kids) he may rationalize
differently than a younger, self-employed, happily married guy. I'm not
saying it's right by any means and it would be nice if things worked out and
Melissa got her Vanagon back and Jack increased his internet business 500%
sold the business to someone with a more ethical business plan and retired
early. But it ain't Christmas in Michigan.
I appreciated hearing your story and suspect that you're the kind of person
that wouldn't have told it unless you were trying to help someone
else.Looking at the divorce statistics,women seem to recover better from bad
decisions and get on with their lives than we men.
And, as Forrest Gump said, "That's all I got to say 'bout that".
