Hi folks On my 81 westy when I shift from second to third sometime the shifter stick "jump". What I mean is as soon as I put my foot on the clutch pedal the stick jump in neutral position making a clunck sound. Well my mechanic did not see it (naturally it did not happen when he tried it!)... He said that it is probably not the transmission and to come back when it would be more frequent... Don't know what to think about it! Help! François François Vézina M.Sc. Department of Biological Sciences Simon Fraser University 8888 University Drive Burnaby BC.
