Daryl, I put 1 litre of Slick 50 in to my engine when it was new in 1982, 280,000 Km later the motor is fine. The motor has only ever been out to change the clutch plate. Maybe the stuff is good, maybe it does absolutely nothing, maybe it has harmed something and I haven't seen it yet. This is just my experience. I have no other anecdotal evidence.
