Subject: Freeze 12 update

Now that my mechanic's shop is open on Sunday, I took advantage of the situation to make sure that I had enough Freeze 12 in the system. We put in another can (total of five assuming they all went in and no leaks). High-side pressure was about 175 psig at 90F ambient. Did not see much effect on getting air temp any cooler (59F outlet with 92F ambient), but compressor runs much quieter.

Has anyone tried the A/C pressure check gauge sold at K-Mart? It is not a full gauge set, but is more like a tire gauge?
