hi everybody,

The transmission on my 82 diesel westy need a rebuild. My motor is one from 92 golf diesel, so i have more power than the original motor. I want to know if it's possible to put a 5 speed tranmission into my west.

i think this overdrive speed (5th) could be helpful because when i'm driving in 4th speed (at 65mph), i can go faster but i don't want to damage my engine with a constant high motor revolution.

thanks Jérôme Grenon 82 diesel westy Montréal, Canada email : dje1er@icqmail.com
