I've read the Syncro mail list archive, and it sounds like someone else may
have done this before. But just to double confirm, does anyone have any
personal experience fitting the older Moon-type chrome Hubcaps on a Syncro?

I have the std black rims, so I'm tossing up whether to paint them silver,
whether to get some chrome rim covers (do they exist?) or just leaving it a
mean chrome-on-black look.

I'm not real impressed with the $60 pricetag of plastic syncro "Wheel
Covers", when the little chrome jobbies cost only $9 each. How is this
justified? Someone's trying to rob us blind. That pricetag alone is the
reason why there are so many three-wheelcover-Vanagons driving around.
