First problem - It's against Federal law.

Second problem - you may not be solving anything, since a properly
functioning cat does not provide much resistance.  If it does, it is more at
higher end  More exhaust volume = more back pressure.  If you're not
convinced, just try removing the cat and seeing if it makes a big
difference.  You'll make a lot of noise, but a run around the block should
give you enough of a test.
