Aye, and spoken like a true salt. Specially the part about the "artsy-fartsy rich-bahstid types". I always wanted my very own saloon and so thanks for making this possible. Ever wonder about the "floatability" of our Vanagons? I do. Seems to me w/ a bit of caulking and correct running lights, along w/ the existing four long oar configuration (two from the front windows and two from the saloon windows) our barge shaped Vanagons might do just fine. Not to mention the possibility of the "sailing effect" by popping the top while underway. Any stories out there about floating/sailing Vanagons? Cheers, Dave Gunning
