Hello Bill and List, I ran across this a few months ago, it might have even been on this list, but I seem to remember it was the rx7 list. I will pass it on as fodder for the oil filter wars. http://members.xoom.com/minimopar/oilfilterstudy.html Though it is more specific to the mopar performance crowd, I guess it now has a german connection that might make it readable for the purist on this list. Anyway, I use Purolator Pure One oil filters on my vanagon with no apparent problem. There are some interesting comments about Bosche filters. Anyway, all disclaimers apply. Read and apply.
