The only reason to go with the crip on clamps versus the worm style clamps would be that you wouldn't have to worry about the worm drive eating into the hose. The clamps I sell are not worm drive, but are a band style clamp (like the crimp clamps) that is merely tightened with a stainless screw (no cutting into lines). The edges of the clamps are rolled to prevent biting into the lines. The clamps I sell are ABA swedish stainless clamps that are top quality. The crimp clamps are plain steel and will rust again in the future. So why go to the trouble to buy a special tool to install a clamp that, if you decide to remove a hose in the future for some reason, you will have to cut off of the line? A clamp which will rust and eventually fail, when you can buy my hose kit, which comes with the stainless clamps which are tightened by either a slotted screw driver or a small socket for only $53? The kit comes with the hose needed to do the engine compartment, 20 stainless clamps, and a instruction sheet on how to do it. Hope this helps you make your decision.
