The system provides a stable idle speed when the engine is under additional load such as A/C operation, power steering max turning. Additionally it behaves like an air start valve while cranking and a vacumm limiter valve during hard deceleration. It is really to the engine's benefit to have the idle stabilizer valve connected and working. Often times this device gets condemmed as not working correctly & disconnected only because other adjustments have been misadjusted, i.e.- AFM, basic throttle setting, bypass air screw, closed throttle switch, ign timing etc. Regards, John |
