I've read a bunch of the archives enough to know that #1 replace the fuel filters (done last summer - 8000K ago), #2 look out for crud in the gas tank (no clue on this one), #3 it seems to be more problematic when its warm (90 degrees here today....warmest the van has seen all summer), and etc. >>So, here's my question: Should I have them overnight it to me here in Fort Collins and replace it... You should replace the fuel filter AGAIN first. The filters (Fram I believe) at your FLAPS or Wallymart say made in Israel and look just like the one's you'll get from TBD or VWOA. Buy a several. They're cheap. You may need them to get home if your gas tank is rusting like everybody else's. My fuel pump buzzed like crazy but it was the fuel filter everytime. (Until I replaced the fuel tank. Thanks TBD!) Das Kapitan Nemo |
