I took my 85 waterbox from Algiers to Zinder across the Sahara... you cannot get more of the road than that unless you put it on a raft and cross the Pacific... If you know what you are up against and have the right stuff you can take about anything any where... I also took a Mercedes 450 sel on one of those trips... this was in the Late 70's not a road or a sign or a gps... just tracks in the sand , experience and information...
