Hi Dieter, The wire is the D+/61 circuit and it is for Alt lite control. When the Alternator is not rotating(or charging) this circuit provides a ground for the Alt lite. When the Alternator is charging, this circuit is filled with voltage which electrically removes the ground and turns off the Alt lite. Regards, John |
