Ken;
I do not see anything dumb in your question so maybe you will act
likewise to my dumb question: Why are you using the 1.9L vacuum system? I
have had more than my share of problems with the centrifugal advance
timing. I would recommend switching to digifant fuel management for that
reason alone.
Either way let me know and I will be glad to walk you through.
