Hi Karl, although there might be something I've missed, this sticker chat seems to stretch on ad infinatum. Are you ready for another point of view? There are those of us who are new enough to the list that we missed-out on the original sticker mania first time around. Kinda boring for this newbie to read all those sticker messages. But, I understand (I think) that this is a relevant issue for those who bought into it, way back whenever it was. No problem here. The good ole delete button comes in handy. What I find curious are the reasons why people want stickers in the first place. Sure, I recognize that there is the implicit elitist snob appeal charm element happening, waving at other stickerteers, and such, and all the fun that that ensues. (na, na, na, na, naaa, na, my sticker is better than your sticker) But I was a bit surprised to read that this is a good way of weeding out the unworthy-broken-down-at-the-side-of-the-road-Vanagons, of which I'll probably count myself a number of, again, some day. (arghhh!) To those who would pass another Vanagon broken down at the side of the road (for any reason) and to insinuate that this may be some sort of penalty for not wearing a sticker, I say, please, keep on driving. And shame on you! Cheers, Dave Gunning
