Hi all

Had the same problem after I had removed the driver's door panel and messed
around. Don't know how your connections look, but mine have 2 input plastic
connectors (blade type) and 2 smaller plastic output connectors (cylindrical
type). The female side of the cylindrical type widens if you plug & unplug
alot. This causes a bad connection and sometimes there is too little current
to actually power the motor. I found this out when I wiggled the wires while
pressing the window button. After narrowing the female connectors and adding
copper grease, I imagined the windows worked a bit faster as well.

The right power window lifter on my 1990 Vanagon Carat stopped working the
other day.  The left power window works fine. My assumption is that it is a
short in the line or the power window motor is dead.  I imagine I need to
take the door apart and test the line and the motor.  Any ideas or
suggestions?  Any source I may consult to see a wiring diagram or any
information needed to dismantle the door?  Is my assumption that since the
left widow is fine, it is not a blown fuse, correct?
