OK... thanks to the advice of a number of you, my ac problem has been
greatly reduced.  However, my wrench monkey says the compressor is bad...
replace it.  So, bus depot happens to have them at a great price ($300 as
opposed to the $800+ I was quoted here)... but he also says we can re-use
the clutch.  The new compressor from bus depot comes with a clutch.  Is
there any reason to try to buy the compressor without the clutch and re-use
the old one?  The old one is not very used... the bus has extremely low
miles on it.  Actually, not having checked with them yet, I don't even know
if I can buy them separately.  Anyway, is it wise?

Second question... the tech says replace the receiver/drier as a normal
procedure regardless of condition.  Someone told me, no... not on this type
of ac unit.  That the receiver/drier would only need to be replaced if the
ac died a violent death.  It did not.  My thought is to just replace it
anyway since the r/d is only $60 and I don't want this my girl to sit in the
shop forever.  There are beaches to visit.  Any thoughts?
