> "Shifting gears is very nice" > > Shifting gears is very nice > It truly is a pleasure > To drive work and onto home > Not to fight the lever > Into first and onto third > Wheee!!It really is quite clever > Selecting third or even fourth > And it stays in..forever!! > No rumble grind..not even signs > That something is asunder > To hear a sound and know for now > atleast the sound is thunder! > No growling wretch or balkiness > No dread to enter traffic > A moments peace with clutch release > and reverse is truly magic!! > A prayer I say of thanks to God > for now it's calm assurance > Shifting gears and many years > of Vanagon endurance!! > Hey! Hey! Hey! > I'm on my way! > Atlast.. gstrent (c)2000
