Subject: Cayman Islands Vanagon
Content-Type: text/plain

Since It's Friday

Saw a White Vanagon Westy in Newport RI with Cayman Islands Plates - Anyone familiar with it? Thought that maybe it was a Navy Guy from the local base (It's not that unusal to see Hawaii plates) But the couple driving it looked retirement age and were carrying bikes on the back, so they appeard on vacation.

BTW - I think Newport RI may have the highest concentration of VW Vans, especially Vanagons on the East coast. Today I saw two Vanagons, 2 bay window westies (and a bug) and this was a slow day.

There most be at least a dozen vans in the "island"
