Man, I really feel sorry for you East Coasters. During my drive yesterday, I saw no less than 30 Vanagons of different persuasions. Westies, an Adventurewagons (I think that's what it said), a Country Home, 2 Syncros, a blue Double cab, and a ton of 2wd plain vanilla Vanagons. I'm not even counting the 6 in my block. Afterall, 3 of those were mine

Nearby in Montego Bay in Jamaica, there's a fellow named Mike who drives an MSDS converted 993 Porsche powered (G50 trans.) monster with <snicker> stock early 80s brakes. He's also in the process of trying to persuade Marty to send him MSDS's unfinished kit to bolt on the 3.6 water-cooled Porsche mill. He says that the only Vanagon he sees driving around is a Syncro and a 2wd Double Cab. Those are both his.
