Short version...
91 Westie, ran great in morning, at 7pm went to go out, was low on
fuel, van hesitated and jerked backing up driveway, smoothed out when
road leveled out. On route to gas station the power was surging,
normal then dying then normal, thought I was out of gas, pulled over.
Put 3 gallons in and tried to start, nothing. The engine doesn't turn
over smoothly it bucks and jerks, and no start.

Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated,
