Hi Terry,

Your wrote: "State Hospital inmates, I've just got to let you folks know what I really think---- The Vanagon on the road is marginal at it's best, and now a few madmen, are ranting on, and on, about how great the Vanagon is off road !..... "

Right on!

There is nothing more I hate than another Vanagon showing up at the Desert Queen Mine in Death Valley after I have settled in. Or at the Four Star Mine in the north end of Panamint Valley. Or Saline Valley Hot Springs. Or Canyon Gauadalupe Hot Springs in Baja. Or at the Mail Box in the Mojave Wilderness. Or the Chama River in New Mexico or.. Well, at least, your Vanagon!

Guess I don't have to worry about that!

Still managing somehow with only 2 wheel drive and my low Subie oil pan.

Onward! Ron
