Sorry, was out of town. Downloading e-mail now.

Nope, no such shortcut. As far as the gaskets and other such "to be replaced" stuff, the only thing that comes to mind is the EGR filter, which is NLA (no longer available). I have cleaning instruction for the EGR at http://www.bulley-hewlett.com/EGRFIX.html. That page was written for someone ho was doing a complete EGR overhaul, but may suit your "what else should I do" urge.

Best of luck,

My Agenda: Vanquish Suburban Sprawl. My Methods: Revitalize mature urban towns. Champion mass transit and fast Internet service. Demand replacement of archaic, "separationist" zoning laws with neo-traditional mixed-use zoning. The Result: Exceptional living/working alternatives; restrained sprawl; our children inherit walkable, beautiful, interlinked towns. Find out more at http://www.cnu.org

Thanks for the reply. It is obviously NOT the answer I was hoping for though. I wanted a "If you buy this $5.00 magic bolt teleportation tool you can take it off without removing all that crap" answer (no such luck). Apart from being time consuming would you classifty this as an easy job (Remember I'm new at this)? I'll go through my Bentley to figure out the gaskets involved here, anything else I should replace while I'm doing this? I'll probably at least do the v-belt.

Thanks, Chris Gronski Toronto, Ontario '80 Westy "Pokey"
