What a pain. Once you get it off, you must unscrew the plastic piece of the armrest in front. Take out staples holding upholstry on. Remove upholstry while not ripping the material at the seams. The next fun part is to split the foam on the top or bottom. I can't remember exactly. Remove foam or split open area exposing a captured nut that has most likely fallen out(result in slump). You'll have to figure out how to resecure this nut as is likely there is some plastic doodad or spring securing it in place. Once finished, reattach foam by wrapping in duct tape around the whole job. recover with material staple back on and voila. its good as new 2 frustrating hours later.
