Sorry to shout but I am REALLY, REALLY tired of writing this same response
to the list again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again,
and again...
It is also CLEARLY spelled out on the website multiple times. Yet I seem to
have to respond to an email like this every couple of weeks. How can I
POSSIBLY make this any more clear?
PLEASE ALLOW 7-10 WORKING DAYS FOR DELIVERY.

DELIVERY IN A COUPLE OF DAYS _IS_ AVAILABLE. BUT YOU MUST ASK FOR IT.

If you had specified 3-day delivery from us, as you did Gene Berg, then
you'd have had your parts in 3 working days, as you did Gene Berg's. Given
our low prices, even with the few extra bucks for the 3-day service you'd
have almost certainly come out way ahead of anyone else's pricing.
Every retailer has to choose his combination of price, quality, and service.
I offer the highest quality product I can, at the lowest possible price. If
I had to keep enough people on payroll to ensure that every order shipped
same-day, my prices would be higher. As it is, most but not all orders do
ship in about a day. But you can make sure of this if you're in a rush.
Pay a couple of extra bucks shipping cost for overnight to 3-day service,
and you get guaranteed delivery by a certain date. Don't, and you will
still probably get your order almost as fast (depending on UPS
time-in-transit to your zip code) but it is NOT guaranteed.
Actually, right now we are normally shipping within a day or so of the order
being placed, if not same-day. But this can depend on when your order
arrives, whether we get a big shipment that day that we have to unload,
whether the phones are ringing off the hook that day, whether anyone calls
in sick, etc. etc. This is why we ask for the 7-10 days even though we
usually don't need it. I'd be willing to bet that your order is already on
its way. But if you place an order on Monday and want to be SURE to get it
by that weekend, you MUST specify expedited delivery.
So if you want expredited service, no problem, it's available. You only have
to ask.
Thank you,
Ron Salmon

p.s. My apologies for the frustrated tone of my reply but I am really at my
wits end on how to get such a simple message out. If posting it to my
website in plain english (on a page that you are FORCED to click on to get
to the order form), placing it in my catalog (again, across from the order
form), and repeating it on the list 'til I'm blue in the face isn't enough,
what am I supposed to do?????
