Subject: Going off list for a bit
I'm swamped, and easily distracted.
As always, I'll be back on list again soon. For now, I need a breather (not
the crankcase variety). If you need anything, just p-mail and tell me if
you want me to respond to the list in my reply.
Cheers,

My Agenda: Vanquish Suburban Sprawl.
My Methods: Revitalize mature urban towns. Champion mass transit and fast
Internet service. Demand replacement of archaic, "separationist" zoning
laws with neo-traditional mixed-use zoning.
The Result: Exceptional living/working alternatives; restrained sprawl; our
children inherit walkable, beautiful, interlinked towns. Find out more at

Fascinating...are you going to leave us hanging like that? It's enough to

Sending an unsub msg to the list will get you only contumely, of
course. If you send to <listserv@gerry.vanagon.com> the subject line is
ignored, but the lines:
signoff vanagon
end
should accomplish your wish. For a less traumatic break, use these lines
instead:
set vanagon nomail
end
That way when you can't stand it any more you will merely have to utter:
set vanagon mail
end
to be back among the living. :)
