This 1990 Vanagon has 118000 miles on it and runs great but when I let off on the foot feed from any speed the engine seems to quit making power or maybe die all together then the car will jerk like the engine is sputtering on and off. If I give it more foot feed the engine will make smooth power again.

Rick
