I think I'm missing something here.


The sticker in my door jamb says GVW 5160 pounds.


But how heavy is an unladen  Westfalia Vanagon to start with ?


I'll be taking the cross-channel ferry to France, where beer is half the
price of England, this is a once or twice a year trip, so I need to get
plenty.


I've taken the wife's Range Rover before, that has a payload of about 9
months, sorry I mean 1100lbs :-)
