My '85 Westy is insured as an RV with Progressive. My agent tried several companies before finding one that would go this route. Not as cheap as antique insurance, but I don't have any mileage restrictions. It is still about $450 per year, but that is about half what my '89 Jetta costs. My '65 Corvair is like $60 a year for antique coverage. You can only have RV or antique insurance if you also have a full coverage policy on another vehicle--in other words you can't have an antique or RV as your daily driver.

Jay
