Subject: Heater hoses / What should I do while the gas tank is out?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

My Westy has had a number of the heating hoses removed, and the gas heater has been disconnected. I'll be replacing the gas tank soon and since I'm pulling the tank I wanted to make sure everything in the valley is in place (ie: I don't want to have to pull the tank to put something in later that I could be doing now). I am suspucious that stuff could be missing down there. Any coments on valley components? Any thoughts on the gas heater? Anything else I should do (apart from the fuel lines) while the tank is out?

Thanks, Chris Gronski Toronto, Ontario, '80 Westy "Pokey"
