In addition to the Throttle Position Switch working, it must be adjusted properly. It needs to click at the slightest movement of the accelerator. The symptoms you describe sound like a switch adjusted a bit out.

When I am cruising at Hwy. speed and decelerate a small amount (just letting up pressure on the peddle, release peddle only 1/16 inch) the engine will buck and kick the Van around. I can accelerate and it will run smooth again with smooth power. It also has problems making a smooth shift. I have checked the TPS switch which seems only to come into play on idle and full open. It is clicking just fine. This problem is 80% of the time. Rick
