Hey Todd -- This may be out there, but it's a quick check: Pull your spare (you might be able to get away with not pulling it) and check to see if part of the latch mechanism for the for the carrier (thin rod, driver's side) is making contact with the steering shaft. In my case it was, and I was getting a weird vibe on some turns. To fix, you just push the rod back into place (makes sense when you are looking at it.).
