For any other folks with the 83.5 vans out there that want to do this conversion, here are my prices:

<< Bleeder Valve for 84/85: 025 121 082 (manual trans) 025 121 082A (auto trans) I have these in stock for $42.40 for either one.

and the following hoses: These are all in stock for: Water Pump to Bleeder: 025 121 103C- $22 Thermostat to Bleeder: 025 121 073E- $67 Bleeder to Radiator Feed: 025 121 102- $50 (I have found 102A to be the same hose and much cheaper at $32) Bleeder to Radiator Return: 025 121 062- $40 (again I have found 062C to be the same hose and also to be $32) >>

All of the hoses and bleeders are either VW dealer stock or German.

Total with cheaper hoses $195.40
