Subject: Reconditioned 1.9L WBX Head FS
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi All, I know someone with a 1.9L head off an '84 vanagon for sale. He had 2 reconditioned at a bay area VW shop,(cleaned, tested, new valves & seats w/ valve grind). One has been in use, on the vanagon he sold, for over 6 months & he wants to sell the extra one.

I was hot to buy this for myself because I need a new head, but have been told I should not mix 2.1 & 1.9L heads on a 2.1L engine. If anyone has a cheap source for AMC heads, please let me know.

This is a factory German VW head in excellent shape. If you are interested please contact Garry at: Gbporsche1@aol.com

I think he wants about $125 to $150 for it.

Bon Apetit,

David Kelly 1990 Syncro 15" 1963 Comet Convertible
