What do you consider cheap? A buddy of mine owns a shop and he quoted me something like $350. He said maybe less but he wasn't sure and would check for me.

I knew about the head that Garry is selling. I actually bid $175 for it on eBay for a friend of mine. An identical bid registered just before mine and became the top bid. Now this bidder flaked-out way after the auction. Garry then offered the head to me then for my bid amount of $175. However, I had already bought two (2) good used heads from a local VW shop for $90.

I suggested that he post it on the list. I guess he got you to do it instead. BTW, after my "failed" high bid. I got solicited by a half dozen people wanting to sell me new, used, and reconditioned heads. I guess the $175 was too high of a bid. Those other people all thought that I would probably buy their heads for a good price if I was willing to bid that high. Beware of eBay prowlers.
