True indeed & I've taken this into account. However, this doesn't explain the 33% extra range I'm getting.

Mmm. Not really. Freeway driving for me is 70 MPH, same as in the States. Rural roads around here means tons of gearshifting, lots of up and down gradients, etc. I'd really expected my mileage to be far worse over here, but it *isn't*! Right now, I'm guessing it's something to do with the Euro fuel mix, or the lack of MTBE or something.

Where I live now is a lot similar to Hwy 20 from I5 to the coast. Lots of hills & twisty, narrow roads ...
