Hello- Does anyone know if there is an adhesive remover that will allow the fire blanket on the syncro to come off with shredding the fiberglass? I need to transfer the blanket from the old tank to the new if there is a way to clean dirt out of the adhesive as two of the pieces I have off the old one (which were easy enough to get off as they have dirt/sand covering 50% or more of the previously sticky surface).

That said, is there a NAPA alumium coated fire blanket product that I could just use to replace the fire blanket on my tank? Is there a good adhesive that bonds glass to plastic without eating away the plastic?

dave
