syncro seems to have pretty good brakes... better than the 2wd models as I
recall, right?

I've found that the brakes are more of a problem than power.
I have a small trailer I pull and it does not make that much difference on
the
power side.
But boy-howdy it needs lots more space to brake.
Install, at least with the hitch that bolts to the tow-hooks is very simple.
