Are we talking about the Bosch regulator that bolts into the back of Bosch alternators? These things are plentiful at most pick-it yards, and really pocket parts. If ethics wins out, pay the guy a buck or two for them. In over ten years of VW ownership I have never bought one of these. Carry a spare if you feel weird about used electrical parts. Way I see it its used once you bolt it on. Still works, right? > -----Original Message----- > From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com]On Behalf > Of KENWILFY@aol.com > Sent: Monday, August 21, 2000 1:43 PM > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > Subject: Re: Need regulator and brush box for 81 vanagon > > > I have these available.
