Okay; I keep hearing about how this new chip (for $260 or thereabouts) is supposed to improve all-around performance on a Vanagon -- but does that apply to all years, or is this like a Digifant, where it's only for '86 and up vehicles? Is the ECU even related to the Digifant/Digijet? Yep, I know the gearheads of the group probably think this is a stupid question, but I'd just like to get this clarified -- because frankly, if sticking a chip into my 85 is going to improve it, then I want "in" on this deal.
