Are you in southern cal??? you might want to take it to Precision German Imports for the power surging -- he helped me with this -- made adjustments to my airflow meter (air box -- whatever that things called) - said that most mechanics just replace it -- but he knows how to work with it... that hes a fuel injection specialist... that was Dave... and my vans been running fine...
