I don't know anything about wetting agents other than this discussion,
so I don't know about its application in photography.  But I don't see
what that has to do with its use in coolants.

Just because a company is well regarded for one product, doesn't mean
all of its products are impeccable.  Often when a company gets a good
reputation for a good product, they try to cash in on the name with
inferior products.

I think that what's relevant is:

Is there already some wetting agents in most coolants ?
If so, is it beneficial or harmful to add more ?
If not, why don't coolant manufacturers and auto manufacturers use them
?
