I tend to go overboard on my repairs... a little anal retentive ;)

What I did Removed whole canavs, and took it to a tent repair shop. They replaced the entire screen with a finer nylon mesh, and added reifocements on the sides where the push-bar can pinch it.

Reason - small holes in sides, and the fiberglass was brittle, so bandaids (stitching) would only last a few openings.

Total cost - $45 Total labor - many many sweaty hours trying to put it back on --- CHRIS STANN <cstann@home.com> wrote: > Coleman makes an iron-on tent screen repair stuff. > See you local FLOSS > (Favorite Local Outdoor Supply Store). > > Chris. > > It's not Friday yet? > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Mick Kalber <hotlava@interpac.net> > To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> > Sent: Wednesday, August 16, 2000 5:42 AM > Subject: poptop screen repair > > > > I have a tear (about five inches long) in the > screen of my otherwise > perfect > > poptop. ===== Mark Just because you have an opinion, doesn't mean that anyone wants to hear it
